Open Streets is back

Date:  Saturday September 15, 2018

Time:  9am - 1pm

Where:  James Street frorm Seguin to Mary Street

Open Streets are events that close the streets to vehicles and open them up to people.  People traffic replaces car traffic and the streets become "paved parks" where people of all ages, abilities and social backgrounds can come out and improve their health and connect with each other in a way that isn't possible in a car.  Activity hubs featuring interactive participative programming generated by local community groups will be set up at various locations along the route.

The Open Streets Committee is looking for volunteers to either Adopt a Barricade or be an Activity Partner.  For more information contact Susan Hrycyna at 705-746-6426 or downtown@psdba.ca
