Giant Community Yard Sale – May 26, 8am-Noon

 

     The James Street parking lot will be closed and spots will be available for people to set up tables in order to sell their "treasures".    

 

    


 

Open Streets/Sidewalk Sale– June 9, 10am-2pm

 

     Open Streets is an exciting initiative that temporarily closes city streets to cars and opens them up to people.  Ride your bike, jog, skateboard or walk on the street.  James Street will be closed from Seguin to Rosetta with various activity hubs set up along the route.  Downtown businesses will also be set up on the street and offering special promotions.

 

                 

 


 

Painted Paddles Silent Auction – June 15 – July 28

 Wooden paddles will be hand painted by local artists and put on display in variou Parry Sound businesses as silent auction items.  The bidding will end at 3pm during the Georgian Bay Craft Fair

 

                        

 


 

Georgian Bay Craft Fair - Saturday July 28, 10am-4pm

James Street will be closed with craft and food vendors set up.  There will be activities for kids including face painting, inflatables and giant games.   Various bands will be playing throughout the day.  All of the painted paddles will be on display with the silent auction ending at 3pm.

 

     

 


 

Downtown Car Show - Saturday August 18, 9am-3pm

Antique and Classic Cars on display on James, Gibson and Mary Street.  There will be food vendors set up in the upper James St parking lot.  Registration for participants begins at 7am.
